Sattva Center for Archery Training, formerly Amherst Archery Academy, was founded in 2011. Sattva Archery, from the beginning and at its core, exists to help people develop inner and outer strength through the process of learning archery. Archery is a form-based sport rooted in process which requires being strong, on the inside: Sattva. Founded by Coach Kyle Forbes Bissell, Head Coach and Level IV-NTS USA Archery Coach, Sattva Archery serves over 1000 archers a year through archery classes, custom programs, professional development, and private coaching. Sattva is also home to the only pro shop in Western Massachusetts dedicated to target archery.
