It was the convergence of intense work and life demands that led me to reevaluate absolutely every aspect of my life 10 years ago. I had a great job but had also experienced the loss of many loved ones within a few short years, so I was ready for a new adventure. Fortunately, I discovered mindfulness along the way, which helped me transition to a new career with calm, focus and intention. I started teaching at Indiana University and became a career strategist. I studied how to incorporate mindfulness into career and life coaching, and earned several coaching certifications.    I developed The Love Monday Method, a 7-step system proven effective for both college students and pros in their prime. I’m so passionate about this because the world is a better place when people love what they do, and research shows most people don’t, nor do they maximize their gifts. That makes for a lot of unhappy people and lackluster products, services, solutions and moments. (The experience of the global pandemic underscored the reality that life is short and unpredictable, and there are loads of challenges that need to be addressed.) After teaching for 5.5 years, I moved myself and my business, Reimagine Monday, to Georgetown, in Washington DC. Through coaching, writing, teaching and the development of job search tools, I help college students and recent grads launch meaningful careers, and I support pros in their prime through every step of their career transformation. I also provide mindful life coaching for greater focus, awareness, happiness and intention.
