VTF specialise in the refurbishment of LPG pressure vessels (450L to 24000L). Includes turnaround checks through to thorough examinations. Used vessels typically given 10 or 20 years of new life. An extensive range of hotwork modifications and repairs can be performed, including converting above ground to underground vessels. Welding, hydrotesting, blastcleaning, painting, inspection, NDT and finishing/valving all carried out by trained, qualified and certified personnel. VTF also fabricate new pressure vessels and storage tanks, either to existing customer designs or as bespoke design and build projects. Mild steel general fabrication and welding work also undertaken including ladders, walkways and platforms. 15000 sq ft workshop includes a 10T overhead crane, 3 x drive in/drive out shotblasting bays and a very large spray painting shop. Extensive yards allow for storage of unworked and finished vessels (prior to collection) and includes a state of the art degassing and gascharging plant. VTF can also process scrap vessels, removing nameplates etc before arranging to send them to local recyclers for disposal. VTF work closely with a local haulier and can arrange all your transport and movement needs, including deliveries to site. Full range and size of vehicles available: flatbeds to hiabs.
