Loreto Vietnam originally known as Loreto Vietnam Australia Program (LVAP), was formed in 1997 in Vietnam by Sr. Trish Franklin, a charismatic and gifted educationalist from Australia, who felt strongly the challenge to respond to the needs of the children she saw in the community. Inspired by the vision of inclusiveness and enabling individuals to reach their full potential, Loreto Vietnam over the past 22 years has focused on inclusiveness in access to quality education – irrespective of gender, age, economic status, ability or ethnicity. ▪ Our Mission: In keeping with Loreto Ministries’ mission, Loreto Vietnam focuses on improving access to quality education for the most disadvantaged, especially children and women. Our Guiding Principles: 1. Act with integrity. 2. Develop and nurture collaborative relationships based on mutual respect. 3. Ensure operational excellence and transparency. ▪ Our Strategic Objectives: 1. Loreto will facilitate access to education. 2. Loreto will facilitate the development and delivery of quality education. 3. Loreto will facilitate opportunities for disadvantaged communities to achieve their full potential. 4. Loreto aims to achieve sustainability with the organization, its programs and their outcomes.
