The aim of my work is to confront people with disturbances I introduce to everyday life. Frequently I make use of distortions, reversions, exchanges and new correlations in private or public situations. Each of these approaches is a project on its own. If possible, the input and cooperation of people involved is used. The outer appearance depends on the specific situation, the objective imposed and the people involved. To start a project an analysis of the specific situation including the environment as well as generally agreed assumptions and feelings is carried out. Based on this analysis a story develops. My education in Mental Health Science and my education as an artist seemlessly fit together. My fascinations were fed and directed by the study in mental health and -illness. Also, influenced by both educations, I developed a preference for a view that gives room to all options one can imagine.
