Upon graduating from Cornell University Law School in 1977, Astrid de Parry served as Assistant University Counsel for Cornell University from 1977 to 1980. Thereafter, she served as General Counsel for the University of Alaska Statewide System of Higher Education from 1980 to 1985. After moving to Florida in 1985, Ms. de Parry worked for a large law firm in Orlando, focusing on general corporate practice and property law (1986 – 1988). After a one year stint as General Counsel and Project Coordinator for Park Equus, Inc. (which developed the Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction), Ms. de Parry moved to DeLand in 1989. She served as City Attorney for the City of DeLand until she started her own practice in 1993. Today, she combines this experience to offer clients skilled and knowledgeable legal representation in a broad range of general civil practice matters.
