On 26th May 1933, the first DO in Spain was recognised - The Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. Exactly 80 years later on Monday 26 May 2013, we are going to celebt¡rate the first ever WORLD SHERRY DAY. A day to indulge, share and appreciate all Vinos de Jerez-Xérès-Sherry y Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This is an annual day to celebrate the great Vinos de Jerez-Xérès-Sherry y Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda
