We are a close-knit team of lawyers and professionals based in Vancouver who have been committed to researching pressing issues, trends and legal and social policy developments for over 25 years. We believe that the best ideas result from collaboration, consultation and informed debate. Since 1989, PBLI has been bringing together First Nations, government, legal, academic, professional and industry leaders to participate in interactive educational events of unsurpassed quality, unique for their multi-disciplined nature, variety of perspectives and the resultant cross-pollination of ideas. Many of our programs are focused on significant issues impacting Aboriginal people. Every program offered by PBLI qualifies for a minimum of 6 hours of professional development with the Law Societies of BC and Upper Canada towards lawyers' mandatory reporting requirement of 12 professional development hours. Many of our programs also qualify as continuing education for other professional organisations.
