The wellness center idea was developed in 2002 after the Lindsay District Hospital closed. The project was a partnership between the City of Lindsay and the Lindsay District Hospital board. The Wellness Center offers a membership based fitness area for adults with their best health and well-being in mind. In addition to individual and group fitness programs, we also offer informational nutrition and health classes which are free to the public.
