OUR MISSION. UNLEASHED is a pending 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on helping female craft artisans globally. We connect award-winning producers and directors with artisan collectives to create compelling visual stories and open access to market. Through our content series, we promote artisan craftwork and create business opportunities for these women who do not have the voice or platform on their own. OUR FOUNDER. Kara Ross is an entrepreneur, donor activist and an award winning jewelry designer whose work is recognized by the White House and art museums across the country. Kara is a certified gemologist and sits on the board of the CFDA, and Georgetown University and is a member of Women Moving Millions, and the Harvard Kennedy School of Public Policy. Kara Ross has sold to top international retailers over the years including Harrods, Selfridges, Barney’s NY, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue to name a few. Kara has made it her personal mission to UNLEASH women’s potential globally by creating opportunities to break the poverty cycle through education and job creation.
