The Mission of the Erie County Community Foundation is to develop a permanent endowment, to identify and respond to community needs, and to facilitate charitable giving. Since its establishment in 1995, the Erie County Community Foundation has grown from assets totaling $1.8 million to more than $25 million in total assets in 2019. During this time, The Foundation has distributed $17 million to area non-profits for local projects, programs, services and initiatives to improve the quality of life in Erie County.
