The HTA (MTSZ) is the major organisation and governing body of tennis in Hungary. With great past results, but a big struggle in the last 15 years, the HTA has launched an 8 year programme to make tennis the most played sport in Hungary. At present approximatly 100.000 people play tennis on a regular basis in Hungary, while only 2000 are in the tournament system. One of the main goals is to reach 250.000 players, and close the gap as much as possible: 15.000 licensed players by 2020 is the goal set!
