APRI – Africa Policy Research Institute is a new, independent and nonpartisan Africa think tank in Berlin, Germany. It researches key policy issues affecting African countries and the African continent. APRI aims to provide insights to policy making processes on Africa. It also aims to provide policy options to African policymakers and civil society actors. As an independent think tank with strong institutional African partnerships, we seek to link rigorous evidence-based research to policy and practice, amplify existing work and co-create new ones. As a public-facing institute, APRI offers an innovative and engaging platform where policymakers, businesses, media, civil society organisations, and research communities from Africa and Europe can engage with each other. Our programmes, under which we design projects with our partners and collaborators are: - Economy and Society - Africa’s Climate Agenda - Africa’s Digital Agenda. APRI’s core products, built on these programmes, are: - Policy Briefs - Commentaries - Short Analyses - Briefing Notes. We will be expanding our offerings, range of products, and introducing new initiatives in the coming months.
