No Hunger Holiday began in 1991 with the intention to make Thanksgiving Day in St. Charles County a NO HUNGER HOLIDAY for the needy. Ever since the first meal was provided back then, No Hunger Holiday has remained committed to providing needy families with the necessary food to prepare a complete Thanksgiving dinner in the comfort of their own homes, giving them the opportunity to enjoy Thanksgiving with their families. In 2019, No Hunger Holiday provided just shy of 4,000 families in 8 counties with a box of Thanksgiving food, ready to be cooked and celebrated with family and friends. That translates into about 15,000 meals.
