Pilbara Meta Maya Regional Aboriginal Corporation(PMMRAC) trading as Meta Maya Aboriginal Corporation (MMAC) is a 100% privately owned, not for profit, Western Australian Aboriginal organisation based in Port Hedland in the Pilbara Region that commenced operations in 1994. MMAC is driven by a Board of seven Aboriginal members from the Pilbara region, in accordance with the PMMRAC Rule Book and is managed by me, the CEO, together with 3 Chief Officers in Finance, Operations and Strategic Development. MMAC has grown over the years into an acknowledged professional and quality organisation, which delivers value added services around property management, environmental health, municipal services and the provision and maintenance of essential services i.e. power, water and wastewater to 29 Aboriginal communities across a staggering 600,000km2 in the Pilbara and Mid West regions. MMAC also owns and operates a number of commercial organisations that are wholly owned related entities - Meta Maya Services, Meta Maya Group, Meta Maya Construction and Meta Maya Mechanical Services.
