Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends assists the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge with its mission to “work with others to conserve, protect, and enhance the fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats for the continuing benefits of the American people.” Our objectives include: Manage the Nature Bookstore at the Refuge Education and Visitor Center in Bloomington, Minnesota Welcome visitors and answer questions about refuge lands and programs Fundraise to support environmental education programs within the Twin Cities Promote refuge programs and advocate for local environmental issues Build capacity for youth from under-served communities to engage with nature
