‘Bloop’ was an ultra-low-frequency and extremely powerful underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 1997. Bloop magazine is an independent publication set up in the spirit of that discovery, detecting the most interesting and powerful underground, low-frequency cultural happenings. We cover music, art, film, ideas and cultural travel that doesn’t register on the mainstream radar.
