The responsibilities of the AFL Umpires Association are to: - Advocate for, and represent, AFL umpires ensuring appropriate recognition and reward for commitment required to officiate in a national competition - Provide a high level of timely and effective programs and services which enhance and support the umpiring experience at AFL level - In conjunction with the AFL, encourage and promote the highest level of citizenship amongst AFL umpires on and off the field - Celebrate and preserve the history and unique culture of the association
