Since 2003 the 1000 Women Trust has been creating awareness, organizing safe spaces for women, and mobilizing resources to amplify the voices of women and girls in South Africa. We are a registered non-profit organization that believes that if women have access to knowledge, skills, and resources they will find their own solutions to combat violence against women and girls. We achieve this through various projects, grants, training and fundraising initiatives that ensure that our women and girls are empowered, inspired, educated and equipped for daily life. We are their voice when they don’t have one.
