Minds Incorporated is a D.C.-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming schools and their communities into conscious, connected, and compassionate learning environments by teaching mindfulness and other scientifically validated mind-body practices to students, teachers, and parents. We teach students, educators, and parents simple, daily mindfulness practices that build awareness and concentration, Social Emotional Learning, compassion, and creativity. We work closely with school leaders and their communities to customize our programming to their needs, build their local capacity, and embed knowledge of mind-body practices in their community for the long term. Ultimately, we aim to transform the culture of our client schools, making them safe, inclusive, and compassionate places to learn.
