BUEC represents the IEEE Student Branch of Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey. Founded in 1962, it brings together students passionate about technology and innovation. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world's largest association of technical professionals with more than 400,000 members around the world. Its objectives are the educational and technical advancement of electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering and allied disciplines.
