The small 'postage stamp' sized vineyard at the back of our house – the name was inspired by the size of the vineyard and the concept of a Penny Royal postage stamp – has been planted with Marsanne - Roussanne grapes (which are new to Waiheke). "I want to be experimental and to produce a premier wine pushing the envelope on subtle varieties and tastes. The Marsanne - Roussanne is an early step in that direction. "Ultimately the story for Postage Stamp is that people matter, and who you choose to bring together around a wine label will define the unique character and personality of the wine they produce.
