Empowering learners as leaders of change Aqaba International School was established by Aqaba Development Corporation in 2005 as key social/investment enabling project. AIS is located in a residential area of Aqaba, a Jordanian port city on the Red Sea's Gulf of Aqaba, its beach resorts are popular for windsurfing and other water sports, and the area is a top destination for scuba divers. Since 2015 AIS is operated by Mashrek International School, an IB world school. AIS is committed to deliver an international, holistic education that optimizes lifelong learners to fulfill their duties towards local and global communities.
