Our company was founded in 1990 as a manufacturer of fine bathroom accessories, specifically, bath mats. Since its inception as a family company operating out of the family’s home Grund has grown into a major supplier, which today dominates its home market, the Czech Republic, and has a significant presence in number of EU countries. We export our products to more than 40 countries in the world. During last decade we have become the European leader on the bath textile and accessories market. Nowadays, we employ c. 200 people in the Czech Republic and other 30 people in our subsidiary „Grund Deutschland“. We now produce on 15000 bath mats per week, mainly for German market. Our bathmat highlights: • LUXURY - bath mats of the CRYSTAL collection are exclusively equipped with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. • FINEST RAW MATERIALS - we use only the best raw materials available. • PRACTICALITY - polyacryl yarn is very absorbent and dries quickly. • MODERN DESIGN - we co-operate with international designers to develop world-class products (prof. Luigi Colani, Mrs. Blanka Matragi, Mr. Osmani Lafita) • SAFETY - our mats are covered with special latex on their underside, which makes them safer. • STABLE COLOURS – the colour yarn we use don’t fade during washing and usage. • 40 °C FOR WASHING - our special latex or colours neither deteriorate nor discolour with age. Our bath mats can be machine-washed at 40 °C.
