The Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation® (MHIF) aims to create a world without heart and vascular disease. Our efforts are focused on improving the cardiovascular health of individuals and communities through innovative research and education. This bold vision fuels efforts to investigate new protocols and treatments designed to save lives. Through more than 175 current industry- and investigator-initiated research projects, MHIF is leading the way to better outcomes. Each year, Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation investigators publish more than 120 peer-reviewed articles and speak at scientific meetings around the world. Achieving our mission takes teamwork. And it takes collective effort to share the learnings from our research to create the highest impact. Last year alone, the MHIF team provided more than 10,000 hours of education through training, conferences and presentations.
