The MUN Team University of Zurich is a student association, which offers its members an opportunity to get to know how the United Nations operates. We organize weekly sessions where we simulate the UN and its committees to discuss current socio-political topics, where each delegate represents a country and its position. Our goal is to prepare our members for conferences all over the world. For this we host weekly sessions, where they can improve their rhetorical skills. We also organize events, such as resolution writing and speech workshops. Additionally, we go on trips with our delegates, for example to the UN Office at Geneva, or embassies in Berne, to give our members a deeper understanding of the UN and life as a diplomat. MUN helps our members improve their English, leadership qualities and many other skills. They can establish a network and form many friendships with other students all over the world. Model United Nations serves as great preparation for a professional career after university.
