The name is derived from the Marwari word beeda—a mixture of betel nuts, herbs, and spices wrapped in a leaf. The company’s first marketable product started with the brand name ‘Shyam Bidi’. The blend was perfect and quality was maintained as a sacred practice. Today, riding on product excellence and consistent quality, the portfolio consists of several brands each one with its own distinct packaging design and above all a flavour catering to local tastes.
