THE COMPANY In 2002, he started his San Francisco Forestry activity, a young family company with a long experience in resigning tasks. Producer of miera (resin gum) extracted from Pinus Elliottii, considered as a non-timber forest product. The production area is located geographically in the Province of Corrientes (Argentina) and the central administration in the city of Virasoro. Currently, it produces 13,000 tons per year of miera, involving more than 400 forestry operators. The extraction system used is the American bark pike. The product accumulates inside plastic bags attached to the tree. The annual production for the current year is 13,000 tons, with scheduled growth, reaching 15,000 tons from the year 2019. To achieve this goal, we estimate to have 5000000 trees in production. Said production will have as destiny the commercialization and the industrialization of the raw miera. FOREST SERVICES San Francisco provides plantation, thinning and pruning forestry services for zone producers. It also has its own equipment for the maintenance of these forestations, as well as rural roads. It has its own fleet of trucks both for miera transport in bulk and for general cargo. CONTACT Av.
