Hiasan Design is a contemporary Southeast Asian jewellery label based in subarctic Sweden. Hiasan by definition, means 'embellishment' in Indonesian, paying tribute to our Javanese heritage. Hiasan Design was founded in 2004 when we were based in Singapore, doing bazaars and pop-up stores around the city. We travelled, grew and explored over the years and now we see a place for us here, in the cosy Swedish Lapland. Hiasan Design now has a new face and new direction, catering to the everyday, empowered woman. We sell a diverse range of fine jewellery with an East meets West vibe, where Asian heritage meets contemporary Scandinavian design. We love colour – and lots of it – and designs that are both playful and feminine. We lovingly craft our pieces with 925 Sterling Silver, gemstones, and freshwater pearls. Our gems and pearls are sourced personally from in and around Asia, and our creative designs are what makes us uniquely Hiasan. Our designs hardly ever exceed 5 pieces for each style, ensuring the piece you pick can be truly and exclusively yours. We are a little bit eccentric and a little bit whimsical, and big on quality and honesty. We are a little bit gritty and a little bit rustic, and we live for diversity and beautiful imperfections.
