Task Lighting was founded 35 years ago by Linda and Ken Anderson, CKD. Since 1985, the company has been a leader in the creation of innovative products for the kitchen and bath industry. Hardware Resources, a designer, engineer and manufacturer of kitchen cabinet, bath and closet products acquired Task Lighting in early 2018. Based in Kearney, Nebraska, Task Lighting manufactures under-cabinet and interior-cabinet LED Lighting, as well as Angle Power Strips, which provide access to power, switches and data devices directly underneath cabinets and countertops an alternative to unsightly wall outlets. Task Lighting recently added a line of LED Tape Lighting and other LED products to further meet the market needs. As LED lighting technology continues to grow and improve, Task Lighting is leading the way in developing versatile, high quality fixtures for a variety of applications.
