The Office of Global Partnerships (GP) is a U.S. government leader in private sector engagement. Since its inception in 2008, GP has worked with over 1,600 partners and mobilized over $3.7 billion of public and private sector resources to enhance diplomacy and development outcomes. Harnessing the technology, markets, and resources of the private sector enables the Department to quickly advance U.S. foreign policy goals and objectives, while providing businesses and organizations with opportunities to create jobs, promote economic prosperity, and advance business ties and dialogues in specific regions.
