Turkey’s Largest Furniture and Kitchen Producer Kelebek Mobilya which is one of the oldest industrial institutions in the history of the Republic was founded in 1935 with the aim of manufacturing plane wings. As of 1978 it started operations of its Düzce Modular Furniture Factory as one of Europe’s largest and most modern facility. It went public onthe İMKB stock exchange and currently has the status of a public corporation. This year Kelebek Mobilya is celebrating its 75th year, on its own premises spread over 200,000 m² of which 40,000 is indoor and using the most comtemporary technologies in its field it is producing kitchen, bathroom and living room furniture and special wood equipment.
