If you're a pizza aficionado, you've almost certainly heard of NY style, Chicago deep dish, and Neapolitan style, You may have even heard of Detroit style. Well, at Mission Pizza, we make a delicious style you've probably never heard of. Our "South Shore Bar Style" pizza, is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, and we proudly serve it to our neighbors, the North Texas community and beyond. Our pizza is based on a regional specialty from the coastal area south of Boston MA and has been a staple in that region since the 1940's. It's a 10" pan pizza made with a medium crust with a buttery crispy bite and sauce and cheese that go all the way to the edge of the dough, creating a deliciously caramelized crust, also known as "laced edges". As one person who tried our pizza said, "When the sauce and cheese go all the way to the edge of the crust defying all logic and gets caramelized against the edge of the pan, an angel gets their wings". Our customers not only love our pizza, but also the fact that for every ten pizzas sold, we donate one to a person or family in need, or someone on the front lines. We know we have a very special product and a great concept and intend to build multiple locations in DFW first and expand from there. At this point we are looking to surround ourselves with great people who believe in our mission and want to be part of something bigger than themselves.
