We are a church that keeps God first, and welcomes His will, spirit and direction with everything we do. Praying for both our congregation and the surrounding communities and those who live in them, our desire is to see God move and improve everyone and everything in accordance to His will. In 1938 Rev. & Mrs. Irving Stonesifer began holding open air meetings which became The Community Church in Daniels MD. During 1972 Rev. & Mrs. Walter Veasel were pastoring this church when Hurricane Agnes devastated the community and destroyed the church building. The church was rebuilt in 1974 on 7102 Pinecrest Road in the The Woodbridge Valley Community and was dedicated on April 7 as the community church. In 1990 Rev. Veasel and the congregation agreed to join The Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee Conference. Reverend & Mrs. Lloyd Womack came to pastor and the name of the church was changed to The Woodbridge Valley Church of God. Rev. Womack resigned in October 1992, and Reverend & Mrs. Paul J. Bendetta Jr. came to pastor in November. In 1995 the church unanimously decided to change the name of the church to Celebration Church of God. In 2001, Pastor James Jones and his wife Crystal came to lead the church. Pastor Aaron "Tex" Randolph and his wife Debbie became the leadership of the church in January 2011.
