Keeping in mind the potential for tremendous growth in the aviation sector in our state and country, strategically important location of Baroda City and most importantly visionary & vibrant governance under your able leadership, NDCIAME has taken initiative to launch this educational Institute of National importance from 4th August, 2008 NDCIAME is set up under the approval of Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, New Delhi, to train the world class Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, under the seven courses approved by them and to equip the students of our state with the most coveted license to ascertain aircraft safety before every flight of small or big aircraft takes off. Through print media, we are given to understand that under the Government of Gujarat initiative sizable investment is going to come up in the aviation sector around Vadodara in the form of ‘Aircraft Overhauling Hub/Aircraft Maintenance Organization.
