The National Youth Development and Empowerment Centre is a local Sierra Leone non-governmental organization that focuses on the development of the youth. It aims at improving the lives of marginalized young women and men through educational and life skills training, while fostering peace and unity among all youths. Finally, NYDEC works to promote gender equality and the empowerment of young women and their subsequent participation in society.
