Through our mission, we strive to empower the youth of our community to tap into their potential and develop the confidence and skills to become the leaders they were born to be. Think TEDx© meets Big Brothers Big Sisters of America© (BBBSA) with a little YMCA mixed in. TEDx is an incredible platform to broadcast a message to a large audience (1 to Many), but is limited in terms of 2-way interaction. BBBSA is an amazing program designed to support a single beneficiary (1 to 1), but is a lengthy process for both “Bigs” and “Littles” to join-- and it’s also a significant 12+ month commitment that is deeply involved meeting almost weekly. The YMCA is all about creating community and helping members discover their sense of purpose. We share the beliefs that community and purpose play a key role in a young person's development, and that having access to mentors can make a huge difference in the lives and development of our youth. The team behind TalentDreams is deeply committed to the health of our community and future of our members. We are comprised of unique individuals with diverse backgrounds, and varying personal and professional experience. TalentDreams is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit for charitable purposes, and is always looking for volunteers and donors to help us realize and deliver on our mission.
