BhashaLab is a ‘language university’ in the making. We have started by establishing a live online platform for SCHOOL STUDENTS and have introduced a few courses for them. These courses have been developed by teachers and language enthusiasts by collaborating and having rigorous discussions about pedagogy. ‘Pedagogy’ is the method of teaching a particular subject or a concept. Every teacher has the freedom to use the pedagogy she feels is appropriate for a particular set of students. This ensures best learning outcomes for the kids. For those who would like to teach on our platform, we have introduced a teacher upskilling program called ‘Super 100’. It is a solid two month program involving rigorous pedagogy discussions and assignments. No college degree is required for the program. BhashaLab belongs to Shikshodhan Private Limited. ‘Shikshodhan’ is a combination of two Marathi words - Shikshan (Education) and Sanshodhan (Research) implying research in education. We are strong enthusiasts of good research and have therefore introduced a 'BhashaLab PhD Fellowship' for candidates pursuing research in language related areas. Languages are fun. Languages are fluid. Languages bring us together. Languages have swag. We at BhashaLab want to be ‘the' language university in the universe. Let’s not rule out the aliens. We will require languages to communicate with them as well.
