About us: Impli is a biotech company founded in April 2019 to make people’s lives safer and healthier using implantable technology. Our first product: Impli developed its first product, ImpliCaspian, and the supporting supply chain, before launching it across London in September 2020. ImpliCaspian was the first subdermal implant in the world routinely fitted to the highest safety standards by trained nurses. ImpliCaspian allows people to carry their medical information with them at all times. Impli’s subdermal implants use NFC technology to communicate with any recent smartphone using our App, available on both the Google and Apple stores. Awards and rewards: Impli garnered a number of prizes, such as the Biotech Award 2020, Hello Tomorrow Pioneer 2021, was a Web Summit 2020 award nominee in the Startup category, and a finalist in the Oxford University 2020 Panacea Stars programme. Impli has taken part in well-respected accelerator programmes in different countries: We in Social Tech sponsored by DeutscheBank, Oxford University’s Panacea Stars, London and Partners: Business Growth Programme, the Vanguard programme-sponsored Biopole in Lausanne, Geneus by FONGIT in Geneva and more recently, Tech4Eva in EPFL, and the Creative Destructive lab in Oxford. What the future brings: Impli’s vision and strategy are pivoted to the future of implantables, through the development of a range of innovative products to enable real-time, hassle-free access to your health condition data from the tip of your smartphone. The first of these products is a new generation implantable in the fertility space to better monitor the female going through IVF and hopefully reduce the number of cycles needed for a successful pregnancy.
