RECap has been recycling electrodes since 1993 from our plant located in Northern Michigan. We currently remanufacture over 3 million caps per year. Automotive suppliers (tier 1 and 2) make up 50% of our business with the remainder shared between OEM accounts. Our customers save anywhere from 30% to 60% using recycled spot weld tips and 50% to 75% on projection weld electrodes. We have the capability to recycle over 100 different styles of spot weld tips and the majority of projection weld tooling, many 2 to 3 times. RECaps are designed to be interchangeable with new caps requiring no changes to weld schedules or equipment adjustment.
