Modern Driver Institute provides professional defensive driver instruction for novice drivers, particularly those with autism, anxiety and learning disabilities. We also provide driving assessments and rehabilitation for drivers recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Modern Driver Institute was founded in 2014 by Michael Mercadante, who has 12 years experience in traffic safety, including 8 in research and 4 in education. He will earn his Master's in Educational Psychology in the spring of 2015.
