The Columbus Music Commission was founded to make Columbus a better place for musicians to make a living, enrich our city with music and to build Columbus into a nationally recognized center for innovation and music. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) that was founded through a community movement in Columbus, Ohio. Founded on June 25, 2016. Mission: The Columbus Music Commission connects music makers, music commerce, and community to engage in creating, performing and promoting great music. Vision: Columbus is a hub of music innovation, collaboration, and artistry. Columbus’ music is an important cultural and economic asset of the region.
