Job Creation/Retention- Attract, expand and retain jobs with an emphasis on industries that provide above average wages. Workforce- Improve the skill level and health of Allen County's workforce. Guiding Principles -Facilitate the creation of new jobs, investment and the retention of existing jobs as the lead economic development agency. -Communicate and educate with Allen County and surrounding region on the mission of AEDG and partners of the organization. -Take a leadership role in the creation and implementation of a regional economic development effort. -Create, maintain and implement a program of marketing, promotion and branding of Allen County. -Nurture and promote Entrepreneurship in Allen County.
