MINDe Group was founded by Xavam Koh in 2009, the business name as an acronym for Managing Internet Nation Demand employment. The vision for the company was - and remains - to help as many people as possible in Malaysia find a better career with an appropriate salary in line with market conditions. Recruitment services are limited within Malaysia, particularly within Johor Bahru (the location of the MINDe offices) and, as a result, many jobseekers find it difficult to secure work and receive no guidance in how to build a career. The company’s initial approach to business was to focus on resourcing via headhunting and networking. MINDe’s focus is on maximising candidate engagement, which they have done by introducing a self-registration and application process on their website, as well as the ability for candidates to interact directly with MINDe consultants through their Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Starting by making placements in Johor Bahru, the company has since expanded to serve customers elsewhere in Malaysia (Melaka, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and many more) as well as in other areas such as China, Shanghai, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia.
