Our mission is to identify and assess the UK's top athletic talent at the end of their career through injury, retirement, or direction change. Our athletes range from teenagers/Academy-leavers to full-internationals/Olympians and we passionately assess and subsequently match their competencies and skill sets to some of the best and most exciting opportunities and companies in the UK. We do not believe in CV - we are not a recruitment firm; we believe in Communication, Teamwork, Confidence, Passion & Focus, Perseverance & Resilience, and Motivation; all competencies needed and developed during elite athletic careers. Culturally athletes make a positive impact early, learn quickly and take feedback well, and are naturally driven and hungry when considering targets and progression. They are, above all, moldable and committed to success within their chosen career, as they were within their chosen sport. Each and every athlete who applies to us, or is identified by our team, is themselves assessed by an elite athlete based on our competency framework, and if successful will meet our client base and secure a Commercial role through Harper Wood. We partner major sports clubs, representative bodies, player's associations and charities in all major UK sports and athletics to identify and support the best athletes in their transition from sport to work.
