Small Bite offers its clients weight loss treatment based on an intra-oral device, "the Small Bite". The Small Bite device reduces the bite size and volume of your mouth. It is removed again once a patient is conditioned to eat differently, after approximately 1 year. During a meal, satiety is typically reached only after a minimum of 20 minutes, regardless of speed of eating or amount of caloric intake. If you eat with smaller bites, at a slower rate, your body will reach this point of satiety with less food = fewer calories. The device therefore results in weight loss.
