PAND Settlement Services Prosperity, Advancement, Networking and Direction for Iranian and Farsi-Speaking Newcomers to Ottawa PAND is a non-profit settlement service organization in Ottawa (Registered charity organization), we are trying to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate pre-arrival and post-arrival mentorship, settlement, training and support services and programs to bridge the gap between Immigration and Employment for newcomers to Ottawa and also facilitate their successful adaptation and integration processes into their new life and culture in Ottawa. The Pre-Arrival Services are meant to guide, provide with reliable and trusted information, assist, and prepare those who are about to immigrate to Canada so that they become familiar with potential challenges and learn how prospective immigrants can minimize risks and have a faster, more efficient economic and social integration to their new life in Ottawa. The Post-Arrival services are tailored to support newcomers with their essential and initial needs upon arrival. These services create a one-stop shop that offers a range of free and confidential services designed to promote positive engagement for smooth community integration, provide information and practical assistance for quick settlement in Ottawa, and help newcomers get prepared to find a suitable job.
