The GRF’s core objective is to preserve and promote Gandhiji’s philosophy and legacy based on truth, non-violence, peaceful co-existence and the spirit of conservation. The Foundation has an elegantly designed campus, Gandhi Teerth (inaugurated by the Founder, Shri Bhawarlal Jain in March 2012), encompassing an academic study and research centre, a monumental Gandhi museum, a library, an archive and a skill training facility. Besides organising Residential Research Fellowship and Student Internship Programs, the GRF also trains young leaders to engage in comprehensive transformation of rural communities through field based applied research and rural entrepreneurship.
