The Kentucky Golf Association is recognized as the governing body for amateur golf in the Commonwealth. It is an organization comprised of over 200 member clubs and courses throughout Kentucky, and is governed by a Board of Directors made up of representatives from facilities from across Kentucky. The Kentucky Golf Association serves and fulfills many roles for golf in Kentucky. Kentucky Golf Family: The Kentucky Golf Association works closely with Kentucky’s other governing bodies to promote and protect the game in Kentucky. The Kentucky Golf Association, Kentucky Section PGA, and the Kentucky Senior Golf Association are all housed under one roof and served by a single staff. This kind of cooperative effort, which benefits all of golf in Kentucky, exists in only three states.
