The Commonwealth Times is the once-weekly independent student newspaper for Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. The CT prints a 12-14 page issue every Monday of the calendar school year, updates online daily and offers the community a lively mix of news, arts, culture, sports and opinion on the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. The Society of Professional Journalists designated the CT as best college non-daily in the D.C., Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina region for 2014, and the Virginia Press Association recognized the CT as best small non-daily newspaper in Virginia in 2014.
